“HOW IT’S MADE” inside look on how engineered stone-surfaces are created for Granite & Trend Transformations

MIAMI, FL (February 5, 2019) – Today, Miami-based Granite and Trend Transformations has announced the official airdate for its segment on Discovery Channel’s “How It’s Made” documentary television series featuring the company’s engineered stone surfaces. The segment is titled “How Quartz Countertops Are Made,” and is scheduled to air Thursday, February 7th at 10:00pm EST on Discovery’s Science Channel.

The filming of “How It’s Made” gives an inside look at Granite and Trend Transformations factory in Sebring, Florida. Over the course of several days, an experienced film crew captured footage during the various stages of production to create high-quality quartz countertops for the Granite and Trend Transformations franchise brand.

The popular documentary series is broadcast in over 180 countries, offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the fabrication of various products, from everyday objects to industrial items and manufacturing marvels. “How It’s Made,” which is in its 31st season, will depict the manufacturing process of a quartz countertop as it is handcrafted from raw materials to its final slab.
