Connect Derby, Derby’s leading managed workspace provider, has appointed Manjit Modare as operations manager.
Manjit joined Derby City Council in 2008 as an operations manager for the Council’s children’s centres, before becoming operational co-ordinator/business lead in 2012.
During her time there, she gained considerable experience in the field of facilities management and is skilled in the areas of health and safety, compliance and risk assessment.
In her new role at Connect Derby, she will be responsible for all building and operational matters across the seven diverse buildings in the Connect Derby
portfolio – from new builds at Friar Gate Studios, Sadler Bridge Studios and the iHub innovation centre on Infinity Park, to restored and refurbished buildings at Marble Hall, Riverside Chambers, Shot Tower and Kings Chambers.
Commenting on her appointment, Ann Bhatti, head of Connect Derby, said:
