Miami, Florida, January 2019: “CPays, is a new service launched that allows anyone to accept payments in crypto currencies”. This is the way the Enrique Pallares, COO of the company, has described in a very few words what the new initiative does. The company says that the user can register for free, with just a few strokes of the keyboard, using their email address and without any previous knowledge of technology.
CPays is currently enabled to work with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, TrueGoldCoin and any Ethereum ERC20 compatible token. As time goes by, and adoption is increased, more cryptocurrencies will be added to the service.
When signing up, the platform creates real public addresses in each individual blockchain, and they can be verified right away in the public ledgers through any open tool available. When the address is created, the platform displays in a sign a QR code with each cryptocurrency accepted and the user can print it and display it in the place of business. Also, CPays triggers alerts via SMS and email as soon as a transaction is made, and the user can follow them up in real time on the website. When the user needs to withdraw cryptocurrencies, they can either transfer to other addresses openly, or request them to be exchanged into any fiduciary currency (USD, Euros, Yen, among others), and then transferred to a bank account, PayPal, send via Western Union, MoneyGram, Xoom.com, Payoneer or any other customized requirement.
Mr. Chapeta also said that: “ …. one of the advantages of CPays is that the user does not need to download and install any App, it just works directly with any web based browser. It can be optionally run from the App Store and Google Play”.
It was also very compelling to hear CPays’ COO talking about the next release and the additional features of CPays in the near future, amongst them he said that it will work like a full wallet, allowing direct and real time transfers to other cryptocurrency accounts. He also said that the company is working to issue a debit card to allow users to interact with ATMs and POS networks, and the there will be an option to publish the name of the user’s business in a global catalog of affiliated businesses and crypto currency friendly.
