MAAD - The World’s First User-Generated Ads Making App is here!
Advertisements have always been a platform for companies to weave a fantasy/ story around their products and for consumers to become a part of the story. These product advertisements are core to a brand’s identity in a cluttered market.
Wouldn’t it be great if you could create ads for your favourite brand and forever become a part of its history? And, wouldn’t it be great if as a brand you could have ads that were created by those who loved your brand as opposed to those created by generic ad-makers? As an answer to this, GoKrazee.in, a two year old startup has just launched the world’s first user generated ad making app called MAAD, short for Make Awesome Ads (patent pending).
MAAD is an app which essentially hosts an opportunity for users to create ads for their favourite brands. Users can choose from a plethora of brands spanning various industries. The app provides an amazing platform to the general public to showcase their creativity by creating ads and getting paid in return.
The market for an app like MAAD is extremely bright as it has been estimated that the Indian mobile internet market will cross the 300 million-user mark this year. Urban mobile internet users will constitute 71% of this base. This presents an immense opportunity for brands who can tap into their primary audience of loyal, Internet-using customers and turn their advocacy into ads. Brands will benefit by leveraging creative ads designed by customers who are true brand evangelists.
Users are already really excited about the new app as was evidenced by their enthusiastic participation in a contest launched by MAAD. The contest hashtag #MAADnessBegins was trending nationally on Twitter for over 4 hours with users urging their friends and family to check out the app and participate in the contest, which has a Harley Davidson up for grabs.
MAAD aims to be the ultimate user generated ads marketplace, where both brands and ad-creators have a mutually beneficial relationship.
As part of the Beta version, the app had already managed to get some of the biggest consumer brands on board such as Sunfeast Yippee, Book My Show, Royal Brothers, ID Foods amongst others. All brands saw a considerable rise in consumer interest, engagement and brand building as a result of user-generated ads.
On app launch, GoKrazee CEO Mr. Sunder Raman and Co-founder Chinmoy Maity said – “We designed MAAD as a platform to inspire common people to create awesome ads for brands across the globe. We believe that there are many people whose creative talent is never recognized or given due credit and MAAD is our way of providing them with a platform to showcase their creativity and get credit as well as an opportunity to earn.”
When it comes to user customer engagement and maintaining a constant touch, user generated content has always taken a higher position as compared to curated content by ad agencies. MAAD is the best way for brands to garner user generated content from mobile users and use it to attract more customers.
MAAD is currently available only for Android users.
