Dan Overbey, the director of IFP Institutional Services, has been awarded the 2017 BISA Circle of Excellence as recognition of his leadership role in the insurance and securities industries.

Dan Overbey, the director of IFP Institutional Services, has been awarded the 2017 BISA Circle of Excellence as recognition of his leadership role in the insurance and securities industries. According to the Bank Insurance & Securities Association, this award is intended to highlight senior executives with more than 20 years of experience as an innovator, visionary, and outstanding professional.
With a financial services career spanning two and a half decades, Mr. Overbey has previously started a full-service broker-dealer and re-engineered and relaunched programs in super community and regional banks. He currently focuses on integrating wealth management programs into banks and credit unions across the United States via Independent Financial Partners’ network of more than 500 financial advisors.
“I’m honored to receive this recognition,” said Overbey. “It signifies my life’s work to create value for the advisors and the organizations that I’ve touched.”

The IFP Institutional Services division was designed to be an intermediary between banks, credit unions, financial advisors, and the clients they serve. His team works closely to build trusting relationships and strive to improve the financial well being of thousands of banking customers.
