Dimethylaminopropylamine is a strong base, amine odor and colorless liquid. DMAPA is a good solvent for a wide range of organic and inorganic compounds and it is soluble in water, heptane, benzene, etc. It is used in the various application such as Cosmetics & Personal Care, Textile Fibers, Dyeing, Medicines, Lubricant Additives, Polyurethane Catalysts, Resins others.
Dimethylaminopropylamine is basically cocamidopropyl betaine which is used in formulation of liquid soaps, foam booster’s shampoos, hair conditioners etc. In coating & dyes it is used as synthetic dyes & paints for cotton, paper, synthetic fibers, leather, hair and printing inks etc. It is used to make adhesives & protective coating having great cross linking & bonding agent. Derivatives of dimethylaminopropylamine used as dispersants and corrosion inhibitors for lubricants. Dimethylaminopropylamine used as an unleaded gasoline additive that improves properties to the gasoline and provides bactericidal activity also to treat polyester films and fibers, thereby reducing static electricity and improving receptivity to dyes.
