Join Nicolai Keeper on a wild flight spanning half the globe, on a desperate quest that will take him from Berlin to the abandoned city of Varosha on Cyprus to the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. When Keeper becomes the unwilling recipient of an ancient encoded Greek parchment he must run hard and fight like hell to stay alive. His only hope is to survive long enough to decode the 13th Codex. His obsession and determination ultimately puts at risk everything he loves and cares about.
The locations in 13th Codex are all real. The action sequences are physically possible, and the characters are as human as they come. At its core, Codex is a powerful drama involving a broken man and his ruthless Greek lover forced to navigate a world suddenly turned upside down and set on fire.

Liam was born in Canada, emigrated to the U.S. at age eight (legally), and grew up in Portland, Oregon. Despite his exotic origins, he considers himself one hundred percent American. An adventurer from an early age, he has always had an affinity for the sea, travel and odd jobs. He has been employed variously as a ship’s cook, a fishing boat captain, a bartender, an amateur boxer, a dive instructor, a beach bum and a writer. Early attempts to chronicle his adventures and recipes and break into travel magazines proved wildly unsuccessful. So he graduated to writing novels and trying to sell those. These days, Liam resides in Arizona and is raising two sons who want to be cowboys, not sailors, which he thinks is weird.
“I spent a long time getting The 13th Codex just right for my readers. I appreciate all the patience and kindness that was shown to me as I worked hard over many months to pull the project together. I think you’ll enjoy it immensely. Give it a read and let me know what you think by writing an Amazon review”. –Liam North
